As the all-powerful magnate of Union Galactic Rail, Abarrus Kreed could work wonders to improve the universe. Instead, this twisted robber baron lusts for ever more wealth and power - an obsession that has seen him destroy the world of Lodo-III to fuel his warptrains. Now, the last denizen of Lodo has escaped to Earth with the secrets of her people’s power. Only those with hearts pure enough to stand up to broken interstellar laws can protect her, and their home, from the corrupt forces that pursue.

Designer Notes:

Role-playing games are often associated with the game of cops and robbers, with the heroic forces of law standing against the rogues who would upend the social order. You might even know this game by another unfortunate name: cowboys and indians. In Lodestar Bandits, we return to these roots with, hopefully, the wisdom of years.

In this modern day setting, it is vital to remember that lawful does not mean just, and that the powerful have a history of protecting themselves from the good. The westward expansion of the United States, a period popularly referred to as the Wild West, is a time of land theft authorized by an alien power, legitimized with force… and a more accurate description of your typical tokusatsu villain’s plot would be hard to find. The people of Groom Basin will come to side with Kreed and your heroes will have to take a stand.
